Quick tips: Fish at night peaks. It doesn't cost bait coins to skip ahead at night so there's NO WAIT periods! Win win right? Well actually it's win win WIN x3, cause you get a FREE HAT with a night LIGHT just for catching fish at night! Also I get way faster bite rate with a match rod! If you run out of small minnows (like I did) and you leave the lake to buy more (cause it's cheaper than buying them at the lake) you could get a 3 pole stand and a match rod if you wanted. One more and the most important tip...You MUST talk to them in your sweetest voice and say "Here Fishy fishy fishy", or you won't catch anything!

I would suggest buying yourself an unlimited advanced licence for Texas as the travel is free and you can then fish there anytime should you run into money troubles, which can be a problem when you’re first starting. A good place to start earning money and XP is Emerald Lake, New York. Narrow spoons 1/0 7g (1/4 oz), 7g jighead 2/0 with glow worms (7cm) and glow shads (5cm), other lures will also work. Buy a one-day advanced licence and fish during the night from the dock of peace, using speed 2 stop and go or lift and drop action. Your first objective (I think) should be getting the best keepnet or stringer you can for your current level. Good luck!

Just a quick tip would be to use barbless hooks on the bottom rod that way you will get the most xp that you can

First cast at emerald lake with a 1/0 hook and small minnows caught a trophy walleye. Straight towards the tallest tree about 10 yards past the drop off. In the rain no less 😅

I feel like I'm doing something wrong and I don't know what. I'm using the same bait, the same rod/line set up and casting in the same place, but 100% of all my feeding rod catches over the course of three days at emerald lake only result in PIckerel and no walleyes. I can get a decent amount of walleyes from my spinner rod, but it feels kind of like I'm wasting money on the minnow bait and the feeding rod seeing as how the fish are never really anything to write home about. Am I missing something? Am I supposed to be getting walleyes from my feeding rod? Help plz, thanks.

Yeah, I’ve always done the opposite- but also, water clarity comes into play. If the water is clear, stick to more natural colors, vs. dark or bright depending on dirty water and cloudy/sunny days

Cloudy = Bright colors Sunny = Dark colors But you can try any color at any weather, you will catch some fish anyway.
