[Lvl.16] MASSIVE Chain Pickerel!! - KAYAK Fishing at Night! | Fishing Planet

Bjorn and I were pulled by a GIANT Chain Pickerel in our Kayak! We completed the Emerald Lake Trial as well as the Night Fishing Trial! Check out our first attempt at using the Kayak- as well as some night fishing for Sauger and Walleye!

I put some map buoys along the edge of the deep water so I can see where the deeper places are. I use the kayak to position me so I can cast along the edge of the deep pool, parallel to the shore. I've caught plenty of walleye in that area. BTW you can drop anchor with the Z key.

Yeah I made a 2 day trip- thinking I would finish the mission on day 1 and kayak all of day 2, but the 66 lbs proved to be a lot of fish on day 1 so I got bored 😆

Good question! Not in any place, I don't believe you can use one at Lonestar either. When you look at a map, if you can use a boat, you will see a little icon that looks like a kayaker rowing. ;)

how to get a fishing rod. when I have rented a kayak then I can only paddle I can not get my rods. why? do I have to wear a life jacket or why is it not possible .. hope for an answer.

On PC I believe you have to hit ‘R’ to switch to casting mode. There should be a button for it on console too

I think the tackle you use matters. I make more with my spinning reel and lures than on my bottom rods with minnows. Using lighter line and leader on the spinning reel. Both are still money makers though.
