Would it be "safe" to stand behind a claymore? I heard you should be at least 16 meters behind it but what if it is not possible? What would happen if you were closer?

It's generally going to pick up whatever debris is in the ground behind it (rocks, sticks, etc.) and throw it rearward with nearly as much energy as it is throwing those steel balls forward. You want to be under cover or it could be unpleasant.

​@@michaeltubbs4606those steel balls are dense and hugging the C4 so it's really really bad aka 3700 ft/sec. But yeah, I would say those rocks behind it are going to fly at 1000 ft/s at 10 yards away = dented skull, broken arm kind of bad if rocks are 50 cal size.. at 30 yards half speed etc. That's my guess.

@@baloog8 We used to detonate Claymores at half the 100 foot distance of the firing cable (50 feet obviously) in the prone position behind a large ALICE rucksack. It was unpleasant but doable but you wanted to make sure you were completely behind that ruck.

First question before you ask that is can you even get close enough to an Abrams tank without the crew noticing you?

@@WatcherMovie008 hey man drones are now capable of anything so we don't need to go near to the tank so a drone packed with C4 can destroy a tank but how much grams of C4 we need to destroy a tank is my question

@@BharathwajK For one thing, C-4 is a controlled type explosive, meaning it power is high, but very short and predictable unlike other explosives. C-4 is generally used for demolition, bomb disposal, and breaching purpose, never was designed as a weapon of choice for explosives. To destroy a tank would require you to understand how ceramic armor works in the first place. C-4 doesn't create a penetration explosive like HEAT, so all of that pressure and force from the explosion is going to be absorb easily by the tank's armor and just deflect the blast away. Yeah it might rock the tank and give the crew minor concussion, but it not going to do much else. The only vital point where C-4 can actually do real damage is putting it on top of the engine port at the exhaust, but like I said earlier, good luck getting close to the tank, even with a drone. Abrams are never alone, they always travel in a group of 5 at minimum (minimum platoon size for a tank) with ifv and infantry escort. Your drone will be shot before it could even attempt to get near the Abrams.

@@WatcherMovie008 of course your right but few years back in KZbin itself there was a video uploaded as ISIS drones destroys American tanks but few weeks itself the video was removed from KZbin so I don't have proof to say whether the ISIS drones were packed with C4's or some other explosives but this news was seen through out every where if possible I attach any link for this
