I wasn’t expecting to like this driver pairing off track as much as I do. As a McLaren fan I’m almost relieved that Carlos left when he did. The tides would have shifted majorly within the team to more of a rivalry with Lando coming into his own this season. This way they are competitive with each other but don’t have the intensity they would if the competition was within the same garage.
