How do you diference between j and g? I am spanish as well and I found it quiet difficult

G before an i or an E sounds like that of Italian. In Spanish accents, y and ll can sound like English J, but in English, g never sounds like the neutral Spanish y or ll. It’s always a “g” like in “Guerra” or sounds like the English J

Aun así si te sirve, la "j" se pronuncia como nuestra "y/ll" y la "g" igual pero haciendo el amago de pronunciar una "d" antes. No es cien por cien así pero no sé como explicártelo de otra manera jajajaj. Para nosotros seria algo como "dyentelmen"
