Hello.Based on your review i purchased the new skywave 2. Its an incredible little receiver. And on the 50ft. Longwire it would not overloadunlike the new xhdata that overloads almost everywhere. Thankyou . Ron z. WA 3090SWL.

Hej Todderbert thanks for the bandscan and the info about C Crane Skyway 2 yes the Radiwow R-108 has a better speaker and I'm going to buy the newer Radiwow R-108 with orange display. I have the original Radiwow R-108 with blue display but yes C.Crane Skyway 2 is interesting but, i am a little more interested in C.Crane solar emergency radio and rhe C.Crane EP Pro take care and have a nice day Todderbert.

I'm tempted but I'd like to know if the antenna jack is just for shortwave or will it work for an AM long wire too? Watched a Russian video where he took the Panasonic RF 2400 apart and it has a classic analog variable capacitor in it and two Sony parts. Couldn't even tell you the channel, it was all in Russian.

There is an analog version of the RF2400, and a DSP version the RF2400D. The Skywave 2's External antenna jack is for SW, and does not affect MW.

The Skywave is better. It has a longer internal antenna. Plus you benefit from extra bandwidth modes.

I'm looking to get one for the airband, and sw, and the weather band would be a bonus. My gripe is you didnt show the airband or shortwave, you mainly showing rhe lame fm and am bands

They are similar. Most likely using the same speaker, and amp.
