Hello Stijn --- As a beginning/intermediate piano student, I've looked at thousands of KZbin piano videos, and piano books. I think your video of "C Jam Blues" is the greatest beginner's lesson in "How To Play Jazz Piano" I've ever seen. Is there a better song for studying comping and how to swing than this? It has everything to start learning. Beginners can play it very simple, then later expand into advanced improving like Oscar Peterson if you get close to that level. Thanks for the time you put into making your videos and passing along your knowledge (and free downloads!) to people like me.

Yo Stijn, I really appreciate your expertise man. I got a question, do you think it's a bit of a handicap using your video as a foundation to play before getting down the sheet music. I'm of course learning how to interpret each chord wrriten down, but I'm using your hand fingerings to inform how I articulate the sheet music. More so what's your process of learning how to efficiently play something when you have no one to see how they play? When it's just you and the sheet or maybe even just the recording?
