Thank you very much for this video--your safety precautions will significantly influence how I use this.

Thank you! And yes, be extremely careful! And someone asked if the sanding attachment could be used without the blade installed and yes, it can. so think about taking the blade out when sanding or using the chuck or a flex drive, that's what I'm doing now.

@@CKHaun My thought is to build a table extension around it and forget it has the sander. I like both tools but I looooove both hands.

thank you, and I will be cautious!!

You're welcome, thanks for stopping by! And yes, a good tool if you're very careful!

This little item is a really neat find. I do some repair work that could actually find this as a useful tool rather than my large table saw. I'm gonna give it a look. Thanks for reviewing this item. Kudos.

You're welcome, thanks for stopping by! And yeah, I will be using this for small work too, just worried about folks with less experience hurting themselves. But it's their lives, innit?

I have one. Set me back $40 off Temu. Used it to make an expanded toolset for it. Use it extensively helping my wife in her arts and crafts business. For its intended purpose, it is outstanding.

Yes, I like it but I’m *very* careful around it.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful cautions. I am deeply considering getting this machine to do my miniature woodworking etc. and I like my fingers so again thanks.

It is a useful thing, just be very careful! But at the price, and with full awareness, it's an OK thing. Thanks for stopping by!

Excellent review. I have just received mine - I went for the adjustable blade height version. Will definitely take safety seriously and will clamp it down and watch the exposed blade

Great, you'll find it useful! As you say, just work carefully, this dog can bite! Thanks for stopping by!

Could you use a foot pedal for control of speed and switching the table saw on and off?
@CKHaun6 күн бұрын
You could certainly use an on/off pedal. Amazon has quite a few, including "dead man" pedals, which I would recommend, which are spring-loaded to turn OFF when your foot comes off the pedal, a good safety feature. Speed control I'm not as comfortable with, just let the motor come up to full speed for the best, and safest, cuts.

Im wondering if it's possible to take the saw blade out and continue to use the sander that way? Or does it need to be there too work?
@CKHaunАй бұрын
Excellent question! I just tried it, and as I expected it works just fine without the blade installed, no imbalance or extra vibration at all. Would be a handy use for it and much safer without the blade. Thanks for watching!

Using the miter gauge backwards seems like a safety issue.
@CKHaun2 ай бұрын
Not gonna argue about that. On this tiny guy it felt almost safer this way though since the miter gauge was off the front end of the unit for the 3 inch wood.

can you adjust the height of the blade?
@CKHaun21 күн бұрын
No, it's a fixed height of 35 mm - 1 3/8ths inch.
@anderssrensen75332 ай бұрын
turn the plastic cover over the blade, so the thick end is over the blade = then the blade cant shoot through the opening in middle :D

Not the worst idea for this thing :)

Fence should be turned around so that the business end of the blade is under the shield
@CKHaun2 ай бұрын
It's installed the way the instructions show (you may be able to see that in the shots of the brochure). If you flip it the other way (I just did) the entire rear half of the blade is completely exposed. The way it is installed per the pictures at least covers all the blade.

"Money" is less country-specific than "Dollars", hence the stylistic change. Multi-national!

It’s not for beginners, that’s for sure. But if you’re very careful it’s useful.
