Is it running leaner squeezing fuel line causing higher rpms?

Yes it does but it's only for a few secons doing this few times, and then open & close needle just like showing on video, then stop let it cool down and repeat

@@paulspomer16 oh yes, I agree but Control Line vintage airplanes run without it and I enjoy the beautiful of the glow engine

@@rcjrpilot Because those engines were designed to run without. This engine is designed to need back pressure from an exhaust to run properly, as well as a vent line hooked up to the tank to give the carburetor proper fuel pressure.

Flooded well yea you primed it about 50 times. Why would you break in a engine without the muffler? The muffler provides nesscery back pressure

It helps the engine to run cool, after the break-in process is done yes put the muffler and you will have a happy engine for long while.
