It's sad that for a small mistake you had to go through all the hassles. Well done China for their prompt action. One should avoid such over confidence and excitement when you have to travel to the next place the same evening, night or the next morning . China is a country for the common man hence it does all to make the common man happy even if they have to maintain their ancient history n culture. The same is true in EU but not in America, Canada etc. Also such things likely to happen in a capital or big city. It's a part of life, travel, game. It happens with everyone. Why are you adding misleading Caption? It's your problem that you totally misunderstood the system of using public bikes. You left the bike at a parking that means you are no longer using it. I know it's difficult for you to understand the app language, but the app had everything to help you in this case, you could easily handle it if you could use the app. Furthermore, you are suspecting this as theft, which is utterly nonsense, blv me. Who the hell will take a bike which cost nothing in China and also the bike is a special kind that can't even be resold and the company has all controll on them. The police wanted to make sure that you have nothing left even a selfie stick is considered valuable since it belongs to you. And they will surely make an inquiry with the bike company and also it's a bad manner of the person who took the opened bike. I understand it's a terrible event for you, Still, it's not a matter of theft for sure.
