FYI Walthers "Lake" series Great Northern diners are perfect for Cedar River, Walthers makes the full length Super Dome "Powder River" Walthers makes a 10-6 sleeper that is good for Lake Michigan and Broadway LTD makes Iowa River. Your layout is great!

Thanks for the detailed info, you clearly know your business cars. I like the video of the cars on your channel. That has to be the longest consist of a CNW business train that I have ever seen.

Wow, great photography! The eye level point of view, sharp focus and smooth panning really makes you feel like you're trackside! I have a question, at 5:25 there is a brown Ford pickup truck in the foreground of the shot. Is that one of the old Life Like pickups? It looks like it has been detailed really well.
@CNW1025 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comments. That brown pickup is a newer Atlas model that came ready to run. I know the old Life Like F150s that you mean, I have a couple of those as well, mostly as background vehicles since those were really not well detailed at all.

Very nice mate. Metra 90 just got here to Australia too. Pulled it's first run with my CNW scoots . Didn"t know Econami had so much in it Cheers Les
@CNW1025 Жыл бұрын
Yes I was very please with the econami. Better than the original Tsunamis from about 10 years ago.

Nice layout. Grew up with the C& NW, so I can really appreciate this. What brand of searchlight signals are those? John

Thank you. Those are BLMA before they got Atlas'd!

have you model cattle pins before? And if so do you have any video showing that?
@CNW1025 Жыл бұрын
No Sir I have not an opportunity for that yet. Going to either find a laser kit or just scratch build out of lumber. Most of the buildings in Smithwick are planned to be wood kits for more of the old town look.

@@joshuatoro8977 Glad to help! If you take a look at my Layout tour 1, that one does a walk around the whole layout. I don't have an actual full farm scene, at least not one that is completed yet, but it is in the works.

How long did it take you to build the layout?
@CNW1025 Жыл бұрын
Oh this has been slowly moving along for about 10 years now. I am not in any kind of a hurry!
