I have a VA doctors appointment coming up next month (May 24) after waiting and waiting. How do I find out what it is even for? No word on what they are going to examine you for. PTSD related to Vietnam, nerve damage due to agent orange, Parkinsons disease. Nothing, just show up to be examines. Its like going into hostile territory.

This is a common issue. Veterans are routinely unaware as to what exam they are attending. Here’s a few ways that might assist you in determining what the exams are for: - Call the VA help line: 8008271000 - call the contacted VA examiner with the phone number provided in their communication to you (if applicable) - Log into your myhealthevet online account and seek what appointments are scheduled We hope one of these assists in providing clarity. Hello my documents are at the va help Group, since August i haven't heard from them. Lawyers from Woods & Woods sent them my documents for a increase, no calls no Emails nothing

Sorry to hear that you have been lost in the shuffle. We have no association with either organization, so we can't speak to their communications process with referrals. What we do know is in the field of law, VA matters are only represented by a few firms. There are more veterans in need than attorneys or assistance organizations available to help.
