Years ago he wasn't getting any strikes bc of how obscure everything he showed was but that's changing so he needs to start conforming to Copyright standards. A real shame but it was inevitable

I know dubs are pretty much always frowned upon, but I nonetheless have an odd affinity towards the Lain dub. I think it works due to how stilted the series is as a whole and the actual performances aren’t terrible. It’s off just enough to work while not going too far over the edge. Sure, not quite a home run like the Cowboy Bebop English cast, but the hokeyness of it all has a certain charm to it.
