JIm is the man ,PERIOD! I lived in Indiana during the OVW era,& let me say that other than a budget constriction,their product was as good ,if not many times better than anything the big 3 were doing during this time! Cornette is a f'n genius in the wrestling world, a prophet at times as well, but most of all one of the most prolific and real people in the industry ever! When he speaks ,not only do i listen,but i enjoy the experience in education his approach provides! Call me a Jim Cornette mark if you will,and i'll take it as a complement each and every time!

@TheShamanSZ I was thinking more about Tyson Tomko during the Main Event Mafia days. He was a part of the angle, but then he got signed by WWE and Tomko was abruptly taken out of the angle. Tomko was only with TNA at the time on a "handshake" aggreement prior to going back to WWE.

Side note about them: during the infamous "junk in your trunk" storyline in 2002, Laurinaitis actually tried to convince her that the fans caling her "FAT-ASS!!" was crowd heat.

Him talking about firing guys on the spot is ALMOST similar to TNA. In TNA, a wrestler's contract or agreement would end while the guy would be in an angle. Slowly phase them out before letting them go or extend the agreement so they can slowly write them out of the angle.
