Thanks so much for your encouragement. The videos are a lot of work so it’s nice to get some feedback and know that somewhere in the world I’m making a difference! May I ask what country you’re in? 😀

These videos are just amazing! These comparisons and all the synonyms you use to avoid repetition or just to sound more formal... that's exactly what I needed. I can't thank you enough! I "shadow" the texts and then I take my own notes. Sometimes I use other advanced vocabulary to practice my own writing skills on the same sentences that you're already replacing things.

Awesome, thank you! I'm a language learner myself so I'm thrilled to be helping in this way! Thanks for the motivational comment.

I started to watch several KZbin videos to improve my writing skills. I pick and will work on your videos because this is the video I want exactly. You just don’t say mistakes as other teachers, you explain how this sentence can be better. Thanks❤❤❤

I like your format. I always wondered how to convert/enhance even an A1 sentence into C1-C2 level. I even used Chat-GPT to get help for that. Thanks for your videos

Thanks so much - I’ve spent 18 years doing these writing ‘up-levelling’ demonstrations almost every day in my teaching job and it’s something I really enjoy. It’s kind of you to take the time to comment. 😀

Here's the final version: How We Can Protect Our Planet: a Three-Pronged Approach Undoubtedly, human civilization has contributed to increased pollution thorught the last century, leading to a global rise in concerns regarding environmental degradation. Let us examine three ways we can tackle this worrying trend. Firstly, petrol and diesel powered cars emit CO2 when they burn fuel, which in turn causes global warming. Therefore, if we reduce usage of these vehicles, e.g. by cycling and walking more frequently, we could mitigate such harmful effects. Secondly, the rampant consumerism of our modern age can be tamed by an increase in recycling. For example, purchasing second-hand clothing, books and furniture, in addition to recycling household waste, is an effective way to reduce unwanted items in landfills. Finally, overfishing is a grave problem, which is negatively impacting marine ecosystems. We can play our part by selecting sustainable seafood produce or avoiding it altogether. As a consequence, marine life would be better protected. In summary, it is my firmly held belief that every human being can aid in protecting our planet. Although I have only touched upon three areas, there are numerous others.

I wouldn’t want to give advice like that at the moment. I can tell you how to write great English but, for advice on points, you need to speak to an official IELTs person or check their guidance. 😀
