C10 Fuel gauge reading incorrectly when full

Truly appreciate the video, Having the exact same issue. Full tank and only reads 1/2 . Once the tank is half full then gauge starts to read till empty

Same issue on my 83 k10. I picked up the fuel sending unit but didnt really feel like that was the problem (still in the box). Great video man, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for a new gauge.

Good deal! Last item! I replaced both tanks, sending units, cleaned grounds, replaced circuit board. I have 3 square body trucks that I need to replace fuel gauge in. All reads irratically!

I think there is a resistor on the back of the gauge that goes around both prongs

I just took it off an old cluster. But I'm sure they sell them new on ebay
