My squarebody is slightly behind where you're at in your build. You're motivating me to hop back on mine!👊👊

Good deal. Knowing people are watching and enjoying the videos keeps me motivated on mine as well. Thanks again for watching!

The first person that figures out the adaption of all three of these things for the square body will make a ton of money! The radiator and the intercooler are the easy part, adding the condenser is where the big bucks will be made. 🤟🏻 my best guess is to get new AC dryer hard lines made to mount the dryer canister inside the engine bay instead of in front of the condenser,. good luck and will be watching!

Vintage air makes a dryer kit that could be used to relocate the dryer. I think you can buy the individual parts off of eBay as well. Just have to have the crimper for the lines. Might go that route next time

I'm going to take a look; I have to relocate my drier for the same reason. Radiator, condenser and intercooler are mounted. no room for the drier.@@StoutCustom

You could use Vintage Air East Clip fittings and hose to mount your dryer any where. Found good prices on Amazon.

Good to know. I thought about relocating the dryer at one point and started researching how to do it. All I saw were kits that needed a crimper and was un aware of the EZ clips. I gave up since it seemed like I would still need to move the condenser inward some and then I had to find another spot for the dryer. I think I may be limited on room with the turbo and all the plumbing. We will see how it works out. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it!

Good to see you back. Where does your "Show truck" project stand? Have you found a new home/shop location? Have not seen your 2 pups lately.
@StoutCustom2 жыл бұрын
My part of the “show truck” is finished. It’s back to the owner for assembly. Check out jreedsac on instagram for pics. No permanent location yet just a temporary place to try to finish my truck and everything I own strung out across 3 states, lol. I still have the blue heeler and finally found a good home for the other one which was her pup. Thanks for checking in and as always thanks for watching!

Well I got my answer, you kept the stock vintage air location for the drier. I think I am going to find a remote location by using flexible hose. I need to find out if there is an orifice tube in one of those hard lines. don't know right now.
@StoutCustom11 ай бұрын
Hey bud. Finally saw the comments. Yeah I’m not sure on the orifice tube. Can’t remember seeing one. If i had it to do again I would relocate the drier. Using the EZ Clips turned out to be a lot easier than I though. They aren’t cheap but well worth it. Good luck on your project and thanks for watching!

Why are turbo’s always end up being 5 lbs of meadow muffins in a 1 lb bag? I know A/C lines are not easy but mounting the high-dryer inside, on the end or remote location. Don’t be afraid to place proper curves in the tubing. More to occupy your midnight thoughts! It will pay off later as no two are the same. Nice work! Thanks.

Can the receiver/drier be moved off the condenser, or does it have to stay there? I’d think you could make new hardline and move it maybe over near the headlight.
@StoutCustom Жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure it can be moved to where ever you want it. I was trying to work with what I had but further along I bought some of the EZ clips to make the lines with. They are super easy to use, plenty of angle fittings, etc. use those and put it where you want I believe.

By the time u done cutting that rad support down. It ain’t gonna be a rad support n e more ! Jk man lol gotta do what u gotta do to make her booooost!!

Any progress on this ?? I have one that I am wanting to do the same and scratching my head on how to make it all fit.
@StoutCustom2 жыл бұрын
I’ve made some progress. I’ve got the intercooler mounted, plumbed, radiator in and plumbed, almost done with the a/c. It’s a lot to squeeze in. There are a few videos after this one showing a bit more but I still have the turbo exhaust to do and a couple little things.

@@StoutCustom Thank you! I just started looking around. Bought a truck that’s mostly been built, BUT WITHOUT A/C or Heat
