This is the best video on KZbin for aligning a c10, these old trucks are notorious for the doors being misaligned.

@@StoutCustom well, how it helped is more important. I asked him why he didn't have his seals in and he insisted he didn't need them in to align and your video was the first one, I showed him and he was like, "oh...." So, hopefully he'll watch your videos in detail and try again lol

always line doors first , then fender to door edge then
@RebuildRex4 жыл бұрын
Normally that would be correct but it looks like the door would have hit the fender had he not moved it forward first... I could be wrong.

I have a question good sir my trucks door to be little bit higher then fender so when are you looking from the side of the body line you can tell doors are bit higher What can i do to fix it?
@StoutCustom4 жыл бұрын
First check to see if the hinge pins and bushings are worn out. That causes a lot of alignment issues. If they are good and the body line of the door lines up well with the cab body line, you may be able to loosen up the fender and move it up. If the door is high at the cab AND fender, the hinge to door bolts can be loosened and the door dropped slightly. Door alignment on these trucks can be a real pain. Like I mentioned, replacing pins and bushings sometimes fixes them and other times there’s a lot of beating, banging, loosening, tightening, and cussing. You may want to find a local shop that can do it if you haven’t messed with them before.
