For every study pointing in one direction, there's another study pointing in the opposite direction. I wish you had referenced your source material for the claim that omega-3's don't oxidize in the body. That is a key question and if there is definitive evidence that oxidation is not an issue I would love to read the research.

Is there any evidence that increasing Omega3 index in men results in higher testosterone levels? Over the last five years I have increased my Omega3 Index from 7.5% to 14%. Over the same time my testosterone levels have increased from 876 to 1173 ng/dl. I am currently 64 years old. This seems very unusual for a man of my age. Might be worth a study or at least a survey.

It's irritating to hear the C15:0 marketers claim their product is better than omega-3s. That's a worse comparison than apples and oranges; more like comparing apples and car tires. The two FAs have different biological structure and function, and I strongly suspect our cells do not haphazardly substitute one for the other in any particular context. Thank you for your comments and characterization of the "noise" regarding C15:0.

Every wannabe ‘expert’ is jumping on the C15 bandwagon I guess to not appear behind the times. The only credible and detailed analysis of the available research evidence I have seen was by Physionic and his analysis poured a flood of cold water on there being good evidence to take C15 at all much less call it out as a total wonder substance. Someone has run an amazing hype campaign is my vew

After obtaining his PhD, Physio Nick became a teacher at a college ranked 194th in the nation and a KZbinr. 99.999% of PhDs have somewhat loftier goals after all that education, and you know the old adage: "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach". In additional to all that education, Nick also has an admirable entrepreneurial spirit. And for a mere $500/year he'll provide you solutions to your health problems (his words, not mine). In his review of C15:0, he knocks the supplement while promoting his own services (before putting in your credit card number and pressing SEND, just know that Nick Verhoeven is not a physician). The underlying issue here, is Physio Nick is not an expert in the field of lipids...well, perhaps a self-professed one. But hey, there's only one way to find out: take the $500 gamble.

"The only credible and detailed analysis of the available research evidence I have seen was by Physionic..." C15 did lower elevated liver enzymes in humans.

@ but the claims that C15 is some kind of special supplement were not substantiated by the evidence. You should work in marketing or politics if cherry picking information like that.
