C172 APPROACH AND LANDING into Farmingdale, NY (KFRG) w/ ATC Audio

I came across this while going through my SD cards and decided to add it as a first video. I flew to Block Island for breakfast and this is the approach back into Republic Airport’s runway 19. Since the making of this video, I’ve obtained my instrument rating and added a couple of additional cameras. Also, I’m now flying a Cirrus out of Westchester Airport.
Off of the centerline a bit and I flubbed my message with ground control after landing but at least it was a greaser!

Just watched your video for the first time and heard my call to tower at the hold short line. I flew N744JN out of FRG for 7 years until we recently sold her. Great video!

You stopped on the wrong side of the hold-short lines when you cleared RW19.

Good catch. It was a matter of the hold short line being so much closer to the taxiway versus the runway. The same is true at several different points at that airport. The best thing to do is get the ground clearance to taxi as soon as you can so you don't have to stop.
