Any car guy knows that when someone refers to a C2 Corvette, they're talking about 1963-67 Vettes. BTW, it's you're not your, and credibility not creditability. You're welcome.

It's actually very, very common for Corvette guys to refer to their cars by "C" generation. The C3s were stingray's, which looks different when typed or written but they sound the same when spoken, and the term, "midyear" is also common, but "C2" is most certainly not the wrong thing to call these cars.
