Hi Rupert, I have a doubt in this sentence. " Harry is at pains to point out that, where the tabloids never sought permission to splash surreptitiously snatched images of him as a child across their front pages, he is consenting to the use of intimate footage of his kids in a documentary. Could you explain the usage of the preposition "as" 1. Is it describing that when he was a child the tabloids used to function like this? 2. Is it describing that the secretly taken childhood images of him are portrayed? Waiting for your answer🙂

Hi! Here, the words in the phrase "images of him as a child" need to be considered together. It means "images of him in the state of being a child" (so photos of him when he was a child). Hope that helps 🙂
