I'm not sure I agree with 6. Doesn't he mention the ball point pens to illustrate general tendencies to act upon changes?

Notice that the speaker says: " first there's what's called the laggards - the one who only buy ballpoint pens because shops no longer stock ink for fountain pens" , speaker only mentions "ballpoint pens" in this first group, and "ballpoint pens" do not have anything to do with other groups >> we only focus on this one and B is the correct answer.
