You have to love this precision, more technicians Need to do this and the industry would have less poor body work

Great video describing the process and how Corvettes are not meant to be assembled with screws. What do you think of the Ecklers restoration bonding adhesive for the early black glass poly panels? I am about to replace the quarters on my 69 L89 with NOS black glass, and want to keep it looking as factory original as possible.

Does anyone know why using screws can cause issues?

If you un-loosen a bolt, to me that means you are tightening the bolt. Good video though.

Having restored several Mid-years in the last 40 years, I cringe at how complicated even the early third generation cars had become. Even with performance cars, the human nature to be more comfortable, and staying relevant in the market overrides the desire to just go fast.

I hope you don't micro manage these guys when the camera is off. I'd walk out if you did that to me. Trust my work or don't hire me. Of course, trainees are a different matter, supervision is required. But narration is excellent for the video! : )
