C3 Windshield Installation - Tutorial

I love your videos, Im from Germany and got a 1968 C3. Right now after the frame off im working on the windshield. Your videos helps me alot. Its a fight to get new things for the corvette from america :D Even if its a little screw set for the trims ..

@@poppelerritta Good for you! Yes, it’s even difficult to get good quality parts here in the US. There’s a lot of junk out there that looks good, but it doesn’t fit or last. Good luck with your build. I bet you will turn lots of heads when you roll down the road.

@@poppelerritta if I had to redo the windshield header again, I would make sure the small upper trim piece fit before I finalized the two end pieces. You can change the angles of the larger pieces, but not the small piece.

@@thedrivewayC3 Good tip, I´ll keep that in mind. I have to order the right adhesive first, then do a dry run with the shield on with that smaller upper trim piece. Its coated with por 15 right know, waiting for it to dry.

Is there any possibillity to get a video about the hole front chassis/ frontlamp mount - Radiator stiffner stuff in the front of the car? I bought it already dissambled and its fu.. hard to get a good hint.

Correction: I misspoke in the video. The Foam Dam Tape is 1/4” x 5/16” (not 1/8”)

Really helpful video, thanks. Only thing, try to be a little more steady with the camera. All the rapid movement got me a little dizzy. Maybe get a tripod or possibly a camera person to hold the camera?
