C4 Corvette Complete Interior Replacement Part Three: Putting carpet in hatch, door panels, bolsters

This is part three of a five part series in the complete replacement of the carpet and reupholstering the seats in my C4 Corvette. In this video we put new carpet on the door panels, bolsters, center console panels and replace all the carpet in the back hatch area.

I just bought my first corvette, 96 c4 and the interior started to fall apart after they repaved my parking lot and it made it much hotter and it melted off. Great videos thanks

I just watched 1 and 2 and less than 15 seconds later part 3 pops up!!! awesome. I ripped my whole interior out of my 1986 in 1998... It's still out! lol. drag raced it since 95'

good call on the permatex spray glue,, much cheaper than 3M..

I'm a believer in it. You want some ventilation when using it, pretty strong smell.

Could you have done the PS knee bolster without removing the panel from the dash? I watched how much you fought with it, and I want to avoid the same

You can, but it actually harder without removing the dash panel. The dash panel is the easiest thing to remove. None of it is very easy, if you don't have to replace the carpet on the bolster I would just leave it alone.

I did one on the 84. Go to all my videos and you should find it. I did the later model and the early 84-87.

This may be a stupid question but to replace the carpet on the door panel do I have to remove the door?

It is shown in the video. You have to remove the door panels and then get the carpet off and reglue the new on. Watch the video, it covers all of that.

No , just the door panel .
