My 87s been sitting in the garage since i bought it. Brandnew from the tires up. Numbers matching, all original, 116k. Put 500kms on it in 17 years. did this a couple of weeks before you posted this, i did it the same way but having big forearms sucks when working on c4 corvettes haha, had scratches all over my arms

Yeah, I had video of my arms after I did it but didn't include it, they were all scratched up. There is little to no room to get that first tail light out, best to talk your wife, girlfriend or 10 year old daughter to get that first light out if you don't want to get any scratches!

Probably best to wear long sleeve shirt. I had red marks all over my arms when I did it too. I'm sure some people won't be able to fit their arms in there. Need to find a skilled kid and give them a couple bucks to do it for you.

Great video but you can't get your arm into the fuel filler area without first removing the fuel pump assembly. A whole different level of complexity. Better to try through the license plate holder.

I want to replace my 1989 bumper with a later model, with the rectangle tail lights and the convex style. Will the later model c-4 bolt up and look good? Thank you for the video it was great, Oh, I have been a subscriber for the last couple months and enjoy your videos.

I've never done it but I have seen it done. It actually looks good but besides the bumpers you'll need lights, side moldings and possibly inner fenders for it all to look good. I know you have to do some modifications but I don't think anything major. If you need any of the parts let me know, I'll probably have some of them. Thanks for subscribing.
