You are a hero. Thank you for posting this. It is not necessary to pry away the wiring harness. The bracket that the harness attaches to can be removed from the front bumper assembly with just a couple of 7mm bolts.

I have literally been looking for months on how to change the fog lights on my 85 Corvette and upgrade them to hid bulbs but literally everyone has newer model c4 where you go from underneath. I had no idea that cone could be removed and that should make reaching in alot easier thank you for the great video

Great video. Thank you for the tip , on using the 10mm 45 ° degrees wrench .You make it look easy to remove the front bumper but i know its time consuming. Need to remove the front bumper on my ' 90 Convertible to install a body kit .

Can still use assembly. Glue & longer screws to attach back together. Because when screwing back on extension for the fog lights it will hold in place anyway

With my '85 the 12x 10mm screws at the top rail of the bumper cover are exposed to get a wrench onto!

I'm not sure how often you check these comments, but I'm hoping you or someone who watches this video can help me. I hit a deer last fall with my 92 Vette and the only damage to the car was the passenger side flood light/turn signal housing and lens were broken. I have been looking for replacements for these parts but have not been able to find anything...there has to be some way to either get a usable replacement or have something fabricated. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

No one makes them anymore. I used to work at Just Corvettes and the owner had the rights to make several Corvette items including those lights, which he did twice while I worked there 2 years, and he had to pay a licensing fee on every one he sold. He would only do short runs, a couple hundred, and they would sell out instantly when they came in. He closed the building down and is semi-retired, I don't think he does any reproduction work anymore. Your only chance is to find used ones. I have a couple but both need pieces plastic welded on the back, the lenses are fine. Just haven't gotten around to doing it.

Found a video. Its easy w/o bumper removal. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZ-oaIaNbshgiqs But don't use the LED the guy used. Photometrically will not fully illuminate the reflector. Best to use a 2357A amber bulb from Philips or Bosch if you can still find them. The original 2057A bulb is 24cp/1.5cp (candlepower). The 2357A is 30cp/2.5/cp. I would also wire in a DRL-1 made by Web Electric. It makes the bulb into an amber DRL & uses the brighter turn element (30cp) to be on constant & will still be able to flash for turn signal on the bright 30cp element!!!! The dim element 2/5cp is no longer used. This module is the best kept secret in the lighting industry for 20yrs & was never marketed properly, but lightning experts & gurus know its capabilities.... There are a few old vids about it & on CandlePower Forums if you look it up. Amber DRL is far more conspicuous than white light & looks cooler also! The only LEDS to use are expensive & should be more compatible match to the o.e. reflector. Vleds, or GTR I-LED are the best technology to reproduce the light spread into the reflector but are expensive.
