What a coincidence! I just painted my plane with Minwax yesterday (I used the spray can)

Actually, you would want to shake it quite a bit as the matting elements precipitate at the bottom of the can, sitting at the shelf for a long time. To remedy the air bubbles, use airbrush with light coats. The airbrush nozzle removes any bubbles inside the liquid. What you don't want to do is thin it; otherwise you get fish eye. You can increase the compressor pressure to get the liquid spray properly.

Hey Jeff - I tried this product on an FMS RC foamy P-39 and the finish was always tacky after the product had dried. Is this typical, or did I get a bad can of Minwax?

Thats not normal,, It dries very quickly (20 min) to a hard smooth shiny coat...

Hobbyking- I wish it was built better thought- the ends need to be epoxied on. I wish it had large thumb type screws
