You could do the same Xpresso process, but drag the Blackbody Emission Tag from inside the Material instead of the Light Tag. That way you'll be able to plug the Noise to the Emission Tab Power parameter.

How would you go about ramping the light for a pulsing on/off (like a heartbeat light on a laptop instead of this more strobe-y look)? Could I do it by loading a gradient into xpresso instead of a noise?

@@GLYNDYER How was this copying in any way? Just because they both made flickering lights from Octane? The settings and process were different. Chill before making a serious accusation like saying someone is copying someone else.
