In this Quick Tip, Jonas Pilz (@jonaspilz3d) shows how to colorize MoGraph clones in Cinema 4D based on their size. He will explain the setup he created as well as show how you can use the Formula effector to read the size of MoGraph clones and then use it in MoGraph color.

Thanks for all the C4DQuickTips. Very handy. There are many very good tutorials in the internet. And many times there is one tip for me that I like very much. But it's quite impossible to find that one tip again, if I want to see it again. Then I have to scroll through the whole tutorial again, just to find out that the tip is not in that one tutorial, but in another one. Anyway, the quick tips work fine for me. Fast, handy, to the point, easy to find. Thanks!

Can someone PLEASE explain how to activate the Color Shader in the Texture tab in the new version of Cinema 4D (R26)? There is no drop down menu in the new interface and I have extremely lost trying to find how to do this. (example at 0:42)

Add the colorizer - set the grad colours to the colours of your choice (something bright so you can see if they are working or not), then, click the tab just above the grad (should be currently blank), apply mograph colour shader and presto, this rig will work just fine - if you don't have the mograph colour shader applied - cinema doesn't know what to do with the information gained from the formula field
