That's a super helpful technique! Would love to see a similar technique that also reacts to 90-degree rotations (like laying a beer/wine bottle on the table) and/or including the meniscus on the edges of the liquid.

Great stuff! I had to do exactly this recently and came up with a similar approach. Quick question though: will there be a priority issue by having the constrained joint chain above the boolean in the object manager?
