Leaks now Indicate the OnePlus 13R will have 2 changes from the OnePlus Ace 5 1. The 2mp macro will be replaced by a 2x telephoto 2. Battery Capacity will be reduced by about 400mAh If I hear anything else will update this space!

I will be interested to see what the real difference between 12r and 13r will be. I dont game heavily, so a new chip isnt going to do anything, especially with the throttling, and frame gen wont go global. So, will the screen be significantly brighter, will the cameras look better, will the battery life be significantly improved? Otherwise, 12r was the win.

I don't think it's going to be more than $450 in the US. Plus they offered a $50 discount if you pre-order. Also the trade in of the 12R should be good. Which one should you pick depends on what you are looking for. If you want a big battery go with 13R if you want a better camera go with 12.

It is ip68 the issue is, instead of building the rubber gasket into the sim tray, they just added it as a robber band which was a terrible idea..I went and got a rubber gasket and that took it from ip65 to ip68....knowing this will save your phone..rubber gasket size I used was 2.5x1mm its the perfect fit, once yiu stretch into place, yiull even feel the difference ousbing the sim tray back into the pjone, you'll feel a bit of resistance when before it would jusr slide in, yiire supposed to feel a bit of resistance in other words the stock rubber gaskter isnt thick enough and very flimsy...I did a few testing and no water got into the sim teay whatsoever...some people have complaint they completely ruined their OnePlus 12r because water got threw the sim tray..the rubber band they used to make it waterproof is horrible crappy gasket...
