C5 Corvette Rear Lights not working. Fuses, grounds, hazard switches and brake switches.

This episode I work on my 2000 Corvette that has no working lights on the back. This is a step by step procedure to find the cause covering fuses, grounds, hazard switch test and replacement and brake switch.

"Cleaned some grounds....." Which grounds? This video doesn't help at all. Cleaning a ground wire is practically free.

Did you watch it? 3:20 shows where the ground is that should be cleaned. Yes, cleaning ground wires is free... not sure what you mean.

I have a unique issue I replaced my headlights with leds and some interior lights and have the hyper harness installed and replaced the hazard switch still no turn signal and new bulbs, will check fuses.

I'm on my 2nd hazard switch, if this one fails I'll be using the jumper and bypassing it - thanks for that info. I lost all brake lights recently, pulled the brake switch, pushed it in and out a few times, reinstalled and wham.... brake lights. I'm trying to find a replacement to keep on hand because I'm sure it will give me problems again. Out of stock in a lot o places.

Did you push in the bottom tab first?……or just push up the back and use the screw driver on the top tab?

I did like at 7:38 in the video, pushed up on the back that relieved the bottom tab and then pushed down on the top tab and just kept working it.

I have 2002 c5 and starting to hate it. After I wash my car or it rains , my left blinker flashes fast and makes my left brake light go dim...once its dry , the next day it will work properly...makes no sense. As far as the hazard switch goes , if you dont have big hands and big forearm you can switch it without taking the dash apart.

Bless U sir... my problem was the 10 amp. Had taken c5 to car wash last year to put up for storage. (ALL WENT WRONG) Popups & tail lights (turn signal switch) wouldn't work. I thought I had checked all those fuses over & over. What finally helped me was buying the same tool U have. No beeping noise. Problem solved! Thank the LORD!!!😊

Did you check the ground? Did you check the fuses? C5's are very temperamental.

Where did you order your brake switch from? No one local has jt

I'am trying to find out why both turn signals stoped working but all brake lights ok. checked all the obvous ground fues etc. Also tested circuits w/ pwr probe. Help!!!
