Love the car but all my cars have been manual and had loud exhaust and it's nice to have a quiet C5 automatic now as a daily driver. So smooth and has great low end grunt. Cops don't need to know when I get on the throttle. I can actually listen to the radio without having the volume up super loud. Love it.

You, summed that up really well! Honestly I never thought the day would come where I wanted a mild exhaust lol I used to be the kid who went flying at every green light, but now I'm ok with just enjoying a drive for what it is.

I have an 04 C5 and I wouldn't trade it for any other car. I like yours also but when your Mag-ride shocks start leaking, and they will eventually, they are super expensive to replace. So glad I don't have that option.

99's didn't have MagneRide suspension, 03 and 04 was an option. Wiki, "The first generation was created by Delphi Corporation and debuted on the 2002.5 Cadillac Seville STS"

If I remember correctly he has the f45 selective real-time dampening suspension. It was a three position switch like this one. The f55 I'm pretty sure came out in 2003 and that was only a two position switch

I'd say in this market right around 11-15 range will be the sweet spot for me. Of course dealerships are really pushing that 15 into the 17s

I miss it haha. It was a Borla stinger exhaust just the dual tips. They have a more aggressive stinger version of the stinger exhaust that runs a little bit more I believe. I liked this one since it was a nice rumbles at idle and really great in the cabin unless you got on the throttle

The stock transmission is the weak leak in the car.. just put an. RPM level 5 in my 04 C5 total cost 6,000.00. Google sweet Corvette on you tube. I also have a BTR stage 4 cam long tube hearders 3 inch stanless ex k&n cold air intake rebuilt rear 373 grear c7 rims c7 fuel pump modified.

You've got a lot of issues comin up bro..ABS Module failure(discontinued) AC control failure, oil pressure sending unit,drain udder clog,trans cable fail, fuel gauge stick, steering column jam,tps sensor fail. throttle body issues, battery leaks acid onto PCM( Change to Gel cell) , harmonic balancer wobble,Good luck..

I hate these videos because I miss my C5 Vette. If I had a good mechanic and a source of reasonable priced parts, I would get another C5. They had plenty of room, plenty of power, and great looks. Put a better air cleaner in this one and increase horse power 20%. One thing you need to do.....get rid of the old Goodyear runflats. The modern runflats is like driving on a cloud. If you are brave you can even put on non runflats called Pilots.
