I am currently rebuilding the trans in my civic and the fill bolt just happens to use a 20mm crush washer: WASHER, DRAIN PLUG [20mm] - Honda (94109-20000). Hope this helps.

John, nice detailed video. Does your garage floor have a slope? 7” lift in the front and rear does not equal level. I put a magnetic level on the frame rail. I don’t know how exact in needs to be.

My garage floor has very minor slope. The driveway would be a different story. When the car is parked inside the garage, I check the dip stick on the engine oil without having to perfectly level the car. This is kinda the same deal. The distance from the front tire to the back tire is only 9 feet. There is not much slope in my floor over 9 feet, maybe about one inch. You would have to use shims to get the car that level. I don't think it would make much difference in the fill level inside the differential. The idea is just don't jack up the rear of the car only. That would definitely affect the fill level inside the differential.

Where can I get the washers from if you found a link

I contacted a transmission shop that rebuilds T56 transmissions for the Corvette. They informed me that they use the Dorman #65277 (M20) copper flat washers that they order from Rock Auto online. I see these are sold on eBay and Amazon as well. There are two washers in a package. I haven't tried those yet, just reused the original washers since they were undamaged.
