earlier this year, I bought the front and side ground effects kit for my 06 C6 Vette. I loved installing the kit and did the install single-handed. I is very well made and looks fantastic on the car. Changed the one look of the car.

I used a right angle drill attachment to drill the holes and drove it up on small ramps , I did jack up the back to take off the rear wheels to get the front fender arch skirts on. Didn’t have enough screws included for the holes in the skirts/spoilers but otherwise a smooth install

@@Team512 Yes, I have a quick jack which will make it a lot easier. Made doing the brakes and the lowering bolts a piece of cake. I went ahead and bought new donut gaskets. Gonna see how the X-pipe sounds. I prolly will get the AWE touring exhaust next. If I do I'll order it from your shop . TY

Quick Jack will make quick work of that job. Good call on the donut gaskets. I ended up replacing mine as well. The AWE systems are flying off the shelf. And for good reason.

Are the holes that are drilled into the rocker panel visible if you remove the side skirts, or are they on the underside of the car?

Great job. Question as I will install my side skirts. I see they drill into the side rocker and not underneath. Are the skirts installed on an angle? Like they slope downwards?

Why did you choose flat back for the rear spoiler but gloss black for the front splitter and side skirts?

On the EOS website they offer a deal with skirts and the front splitter, but I noticed the option to buy just the splitter alone has a splitter that looks like it protrudes out a lot less than the other splitter, which is what I really want. Do you know if they are different splitters? Kind of an odd ball question I know. 🤣

It's a Hooker Black Heart xpipe and axel back. No cats...no mufflers! Stock exhaust manifolds. Oh yeah, and a big cam...

Hey, did you guys get a chance to see if the C6 side skirts also fit on a C5?

We actually did! Short answer, you could certainly get them to fit. However, the rocker panel of the C5 sweeps in more, causing a bit of an unnatural lateral curve in the side skirt. You're sort of fighting the rigidity of the side skirt to flex it into place. Like I said, you could do it, but I didn't like the fit enough to start screwing into my rockers.

If your C 6 sports a Vortech supercharger the front splitter will not fit. Everything has to lowered so the splitter won’t fit flush Everything else 👍

The side skirts for the Z06 are different. You can purchase the side skirts separate from the front splitter.

@@Team512 i was told if you have a base corvette with z06 rear fenders that the base kit fits and the z06 kit wont. That was a different company though. My 07 has base front fenders and z06 rear

Front splitter was sold out so I went with a different style and it sits higher than the side skirts so it doesnt look even. What a waste.
