Another great one. I wanted to share this with you also, I saw it on someone else’s channel and it saved me some money. So my driver side speaker started to sound like it was blown but it wasn’t, there’s a dust shield that is glued on and when that gets cracked it makes the speaker sound like it blown. So instead of going to the stealer aka dealer just remove the dust cover. It actually saved my wallet

My new OEM door sill plate has been sitting in the basement for 2.5 years after I realized I needed to get the seat out of the way to access the connector for the light bar. I finally replaced the failing door sill plate (light bar has been flickering) today with the help of this video. Thank you again for a much needed tutorial.

It could be a simple issue with your switch, otherwise it has to be with the motor/mechanism for moving the seat. That's a tricky one

Are the S6 seats still have the cooling and heating capability? I love the S6 seats, especially the white one, a set of RS 6 would be awesome too, they would match with my RS shifter ( from a tt rs)

S6 seats into a A6 same year 2013, the driver side is ok but the passenger says that the airbag is not connected. but it is plugged in, do I need to code the seat to the car? Or can I simply just swap seats modules?

I removed the module but you will need a small ratchet with torx (I forget the size). You just hav to kind of dig your fingers under the plastic, and pull outward towards the seat and upward to get it around the frame. Then there's three screws on the seat adjustment switch and a connector and you can just take it out.

Cant access the front bolts cause it’s stuck it’s still moving forward and back but not all the way back any advice to help ?

@@AudiC7Owners gonna get rid of it maybe too many issues , replaced all spark plugs and coils and still misfiring and check engine and EPC crap is on we reset the codes it keep coming back driving ruff , changed valve cover gasket nothing still oil going in the spark plugs I guess and leaking under the car … gonna say good bye

@@AudiC7Owners indeed it is stuck for the back ones. I had no problems with it being stuck (keeps the wife from driving 😂) until a valet only establishment refused to park my car as the seat couldn’t be adjusted.

Ooooh. You can try to apply 12v power to the fuse or harness directly to move it. That's what others have had to do in the past

It's just a 10mm nut you have to loosen on the positive terminal to remove from the battery.

How did you fix the looseness in the seat. Mine rocks slightly back and forth. It's been the same since I got it.

There is a bolt underneath the side plastic pieces that needed to be tightened. It isn't easy to get to

It's too bad Audi doesn't have an option for tilting the seat up without disconnecting the wiring to allow owners to get at small objects (necklaces, credit cards, etc.) that get stuck under the seats.

Sadly my mechatronic transmission computer failed for my 2012 A6 3.0T. The part is over $5,000 and on heavy back order. It's a shame because I put lots of money into the car but this will break the bank. I enjoyed your videos and I hope you keep inspiring C7 owners. This will be my last view, like, and comment. You know you can get them used on ebay right? Was it the mechatronics unit itself? Or was it the tcu? Both can be found used online for affordable prices.

@@AudiC7Owners I have found the mechatronic part used online but I would need to tow the car back because from what I am told (from euro repair shop) IT CAN’T EVEN SHIFT!?!? I was also told that the part must be programmed? So I don’t know the true status of car because I haven’t seen it with my own eyes since I brought it in a month ago.

I would have the shop replace the part, then tow it to your audi dealer & have them remove component protection.
