Change my own oil. I don't trust shops. First time I changed it i didn't do any research, had no triple squares, an old set of Allen wrenches, and a 10 yr old piston hydraulic jack. I was red in the face, took me the entire f-in day to fumble fuck through it. I was definitely lit. I now do tons of research, have nice tools, and fricking jackstands. Still no garage though... and I live in northern Utah. But you know what? I love my C7.5. Sexy, fast, and comfortable. Bitchin car...

Currently having a really tough time getting that lower ball joint to pop. Can you buy the zf8 tcu tune from jackal separately from the ecu tune?
@AudiC7OwnersКүн бұрын
You would need to email them and ask, but it's designed to work with their ecu to get max benefits
@chriskamen2152Күн бұрын
Catalytic converters need to be hot for the reactions to occur, they are designed to operate at high temp, but a bigger reason they are that close it for emissions, thewy warm up to operating temp faster. If you are melting cats your tune in bad or you had a catastrophically lean running engine.

Just thought I’d touch on this…. I just installed these in my girlfriends car last night and so far no chain rattle since, I’ve parked car nose downhill on driveway fired up cold no rattle I have to say it seems to be doing the trick Something to note i would only get the odd chain rattle after sitting for longer periods of time (over night) but not always also less then 3 seconds when it did do it, so I’d say if your getting rattle from tensioners bleeding down overnight this seems to be the fix, one other thing I could say is these engines love fresh oil I have a buddy with s4 and when he’s coming to the end of a oil change interval at about 4500km the chain rattle starts to be more present

Great video and thank you! Question - I have a 2016 A6 Prestige with 177K miles. Audi is telling me I need to replace the MMI to solve some nagging issues. 1. Drivers side heated seats don't work. 2. HomeLink buttons no longer work. 3. Backup camera doesn't work. 4. Problems connecting to wireless occasionally. Do these sound like an MMI problem? Everything works other than those I mentioned. I'm wondering if an update would fix theses instead of a complete replacement. Your help is appreciated.

Hey Cameron, got a quick question for you. Trying to narrow down a small oil leak that I’m having. I’ve got oil on the front of the engine and I don’t think it’s the crankshaft because there is some oil getting on the the alternator. I just did the pcv/water pump/ tstat also did injector clean + reseal along with a carbon clean. Upon putting everything back together, my sq5 started to burn coolant in the combustion chambers... drove 5 minutes and turned around to find coolant in my oil... I removed the supercharger and found coolant in my intake runners. I removed both intercooler cores from the supercharger and they looked cooked... no oil in my coolant though... what could it be?
@AudiC7Owners9 күн бұрын
1) where did you set coolant in your oil? Did your you see it by opening your oil cap? 2) coolant in your intake flaps is 100% from leaking ic cores
@samueldesbiens25249 күн бұрын
@AudiC7Owners I drained the oil, and it was like chocolate milk. I removed the ic cores and put water in them to test for leaks. After 24 hours the water level remained the same. I did order new cores just in case... I then proceeded to remove the new pcv valve and found oil & coolant at the base of the unit... I think the new pcv was d.o.a. I put the old one back in, which wasn't that old. I will need to remove the oil pan & flush the engine with new oil a couple of times to clean everything. Luckily, I didn't run the car too long. Before even starting this whole job, the car ran fine. Only had a little rough idle I wanted to get rid of. I will wait for the new ic cores to come & will test the car afterwards. I'm really at my last draw on this car... if that doesn't work I will need to bring it to a local shop
@AudiC7Owners8 күн бұрын
@samueldesbiens2524 that is crazy man. Was it a oem pcv you used as a replacement? Sometimes the cores need pressure to see the leak. There isn't any other way for coolant to get into the intake valves other than bad cores.
@samueldesbiens25248 күн бұрын
@AudiC7Owners the new pcv was not an oem spec. I bought it from rock auto. Lesson learned on cheaping out of oem spec parts. I almost killed my engine. There were no engine lights or codes after doing the job but as soon as I saw white smoke... I knew it was burning coolant. I redid the pcv job, and it took me half the time. I won't take any chances on those ic cores. The new ones will be delivered Tuesday. I cleaned the supercharger/throttlebody, changed the oil, added the ecs tuning magnetic plug. There were signs of coolant behind the throttlebody plate... My theory is that the new pcv was doa and the ic core were cooked. The pcv let coolant through the tube under the supercharger. I will keep you posted. Thanks for making these videos. They are extremely helpful.
@AudiC7Owners8 күн бұрын
Good luck man! Make sure you don't accidentally set the supercharger on the studs in a way they can puncture the IC's. That's a common rookie mistake that causes ic damage
