When I called John Megel Chevrolet last May to inquire about ordering a C8 they told me to take a hike. Said they weren't even interested in adding me to the wait list. I was able to to get on wait list with another local dealer. I got an allocation this month so happy about that. Great video and awesome car!

Had to laugh at that rainstorm. I picked up my new C8 and drove it home in a bomb cyclone from Portland to Seattle. Looked like the rain you showed. The car has all season tires. All seasons but the monsoon season. Very sketchy. Ended up doing 45 on I-5. Made it nothing bent or scraped...still cleaning it up. Picked Rapid Blue..

The car is a real beauty. I saw one for the first time in real life, when I was traveling from Tempe to Florence AZ, it looks great in person, the one I saw was the old red metallic tint coat, the one they replaced. But this blue is really something, it looks amazing. More muscle car than the bright red corvettes for sure.

@@faraci5617 The red which I saw was the old long-beach red, it looked more maroon, I did not like it that much. However, even in that color, the Corvette's good looks really shown through. But I have to say the blue is really stunning. This blue and the good old Torch Red, if I had to pick I would have to decide between the your Elkhart blue or the Torch Red. But I really find the blue amazing.

Great looking car, love your color and option choices. I can’t find that spoiler and front air / scrape kit on the configuration web site, if I select rear wing in your body color it defaults back to white? Any ideas pls? Or the larger black wing that I don’t think looks as subtle.

Hey chris thanks,i couldn't be happier with it!!That spoiler and front splitter is part of the z51 package,so i can only assume maybe you don't have the z51 selected on the configurator.Hope that helps👍🏼! If you are going with elkhart lake blue and non z51,i might be selling that blue rear spoiler in favor of the carbon flash version.

Hey Keiyon!You are a smart man..i look at everything i purchase from a equity potential perspective,$20k is just too much ground to give up off the bat,i agree!The key with this car is to call around for available allocations from dealerships that don't charge over MSRP (they exist).There is a guy in texas who had waited 17 months for his and finally called around found an allocation at another dealership (at msrp)just got his car 9 weeks later and still hasn't heard from the original dealership about his first order.Best of luck my friend..if i hear anything about a msrp allocation available i'll let you know👍🏼

Are the GT1 seats more comfortable for daily driving than the GT2 seats assuming they are both in a 2LT? I'm considering the LT3 but I can't choose GT1 seats and if they are more comfortable that's more important to me.

I have the GT2 seats and i cant believe how comfortable they are!I have never sat in a GT1 seat but have been told they are comparable comfort wise to the GT2...The competition seats are the only ones i would avoid if you are looking for optimal daily comfort.As far as trim level i personally feel the 2lt is where the rubber meets the road in terms of what you get for your money (value)..either way you are gonna love your C8👍🏼

I was looking at some vossen but I’ll checkout those argon, I just want to put some run flats on whatever new wheels I get. C8 owner caught a flat tire with some aftermarket wheels. Said it was a pain because he was on a road trip with no spare tire.

Try not to go black as you lose that pop with the wheel color contrast. Like how your yellow brake caliper pop out against that gray wheel with the blue color car! Good luck

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(
