My first Corvette just arrived at the dealer . I didn’t get it yet. Very soon. Rapid Blue like yours 2LT. I forgot to add the front splitter. Where can I purchase it?

Bought one for my C8. All for screw holes to attach the three parts were misaligned resulting in crooked screws, or cracking. Paint quality below average. Part casts about $250, but is worth $50, at best. Personally, I won’t make the same mistake twice with this vendor.

Well that’s a bummer. Mine was pretty nice aside from clear coat pooling in the attachment slot, but easy to remedy. Hopefully they took care of you.

Your car looks great! Are you thinking about doing side skirts? Just curious if you have PPE and/or ceramic coating and if you did either yourself? I am going to have PPE Xpel professionally installed. I was going to do the ceramic myself and was looking for product recommendations.Thanks!

Hello. I did the Ceramic coat. I used Adams polish brand. Easy to do, just take your time. I also did a color correction prior, basically just a good power buffing since paint from factory was pretty good. I also had a clear bra added to front prior to ceramic coating. Have always had great luck with Adams. Side skirts are actually next on the list hopefully in next couple of weeks. Thank you and enjoy your awesome ride!

Is the tape really necessary?

Hello. It is clear and if you get it on correctly, can’t see at all. I think it helps relieve some stress off the little screws at higher speeds. I broke a splitter before after hitting a chunk of Semi Truck tire on the highway. The old tape off came off relatively easily and left no mark at all on the paint. Thanks.
