That’s because the bmw driver is the only one to actually race his car well with a wheel and tire set up. Sounds like he also has a big turbo. Hellcat dudes scoring 12s like they aren’t at least an 11:20 car consistently and better on a drag radial in decent weather. Dudes can’t even do a proper burn out not even the redeye hence the reason he’s in the 11s with a drag pack on. Bmw guy knew how to drive.

Yeah, because we're talking a built motor, against a stock Corvette, and that's the only way that m2 was ever gonna win against the c8, put a stock m2 against it, their would be a different result, no Brainerd, stock m2's don't do 125 in the quarter, no doubt

@@jefferybanks2261 you realize that the bmw doesn’t need to be built to run an 11 or even 10 right? A simple tune tire maybe after market turbo. Which is what it sounded like. All the other cars either had rubber band tires on or couldn’t drive with a drag pak. The slowest hc runs 11s not 12s. The redeye ran 11s with a tire. So either the track sucked air was bad or driver mods are needed maybe a combo.

That's not an M2, that's a 1 series (the predecessor to the M2). Also, it's clear that it's been modded (big slicks in the back and skinnies up front). It probably has at least a big turbo and a tune. The C8 is completely stock. Regular 1 series cars usually don't do anything higher than 112mph, and on this track it looks like they would do 106mph
