Clint, BTW I would like to compliment you and your crew on how clean y’all keep your shop looking! That just shows that you truly care about what it is you do! It would not matter if you were baking bread, the fact that you care enough about your work environment to continuously have it kept that way! Shows everyone that you take pride in what you do. In the late 80's I worked for an engineer who had retired from JD as the lead designer of the G model trans. When he told me that he could have the trans out and on the bench in an hour I told him he was out of his cotton pickin' mind. I went back to heavy eq. in the late 90's for a company that had a fleet 450-650G's which meant I was rebuilding 3-4 G transmissions/yr. I had to call him and apologize. Of all the brands I have worked on, that was the easiest to remove and work on. Great videos.

Great job Guys. I am 63 and heard a Transmission called a tranny all my life. So I am not going to stop now : ) I own an old John Deere 300 TLB The clutches are a metal type Wear material and look brand new even though the tranny was full of water. I just had to change the seal in the piston has rust had ate them up. Liked and shared. All my best.

🤣 At 53:20 Bad to The Bone playing while Kevin is running the car through flames is another classic C&C moment for the Best Of Reel! Big kids do love big toys. Also the wrecking ball. Most of us don't have one of those in our toolbox. 😆 If we did, I'm sure we would use it more often than is wise. That is wild how much smoke reached you. I'm about 800 miles (1300 km) away from you near Ottawa, Canada and fire was another 1200 km north-east of me in Quebec. The smoke was really bad here, but the fact that it made it over 1500 miles to you shows how big the fires have been this year. 🔥🔥🔥🔥Bad to the Bone!

Kinda delicate looking activities pulling 1/2 of axel shaft out then 'slipping' other 1/2 of axel into a 'neutral' area to allow compact transmission to be pulled out rearward from big access plate. Amazing how you show/tell(teach) we armchair viewers how to do this type of work. You make it look sooo easy! Using yur large Wrecking all

That track breaking tool is pretty impressive and certainly appears very capable at breaking the joint and pushing the pin out. I assume it can be used in a reverse pattern to re-insert the pin again and rejoin the track? The power pack machining of the plate with the O rings rather less impressive though - I couldn't see that repair lasting any real length of time / cycles of use for what must be a real expensive tool!!

I'm in Northern VA about 20 miles west of DC and we been getting the smoke from Canada as well. Sometimes you have to use unconventional tools to get things apart I have a 20 pound chipping hammer thats normally run off a big compressor that I have used many times to help knick things apart last time i used it was to knock out the bolts on a used bushog i got at auction that hold the blades on my brother was watching when i did it and he was rather impressed by my use of unconventional tools. I've even heard of guys using a hydraulic hammer on a skid steer or track hoe to knock out stubborn pins before as well beats a manual slegdhammer any day
