I love going on boats to fish but catching it on a pier or shore has a very different feeling! Unless you’re fighting a bluefin that’s a different story!

They shouldn’t use the gaff to bring the fish up. If the fish is underside, they can release it back without any injuries to the fish. Bad practice. CA fish and game should regulate how people use the gaff to hook the fish. Shame on them. No respect for the wild life.
