Sir, honestly saying, all other KZbin revision videos of FEMA is simply no where close to yours. Rattafi we can do ourselves, we need teachers for concept. All other revision videos is teacher simply reading out the provisions to students. I watched at least 5 teacher's revision video. Everyone started with the definition of PRI. I was like, but what is fema, why is fema? And that prohibited transactions part I never understood. You really delievered what was needed ie. concepts! Indeed your hardwork of months and years is evident in this video. I hope this video becomes the most popular fema revision video on KZbin and reaches all the students

I have taken regular batch of CA final law from some other faculty But the thing is I was not able to recall a single concept at the time of exam and 6 month back I saw your director revision lecture with EFQ that revision lecture build my confidence in law than IBC, PMLA and now FEMA . As per Your question Sir , the law that they have changed for person coming from o/s india for 3 purpose irrespect of his stay in P.Y. for less than 182 days = what i think is that they want to prioritize India as A better Country , they are giving more value to the person who is deciding to come in India for 3 purpose as they know this will Promote India to a good stage , whereas even his Stay is less than 182 Days .....for them India & Its Growth matters even then whatever the Law says...plus it benefits India only so side lining the Law in This Case doesn't have Much Harm ..Also they dnt appreciate the person from India who's going Out for 3 purpose That's why for them it's no point of considering him as PRI ....

25:59 sir even in DT, it is given that if u come to India for EBU then ur PRI. IN THIS CASE U dont have to see 182 days wala condition. bcz logically if u hv come for EBU then it is certain that u gonna stay more than 182 days.

Koi person, EBU ke liye India aata hai to irrespective of the number of days he stays in India he will be PRI, Similarly, if a person leaves India for EBU he is PROI irrespective of the number of days he stays in India and Lastly if his purpose to stay in India or Outside India is otherwise than EBU then the condition of more than 182 days is applicable to decide whether he is PRI or PROI

For PROI/ PRI confusion:- In my opinion, an individual is considered to be PROI in financial year 2023-24 if he was not in india for more than 182 days in FY 2022-23. For checking PROI or PRI, if he came to india for EBU lets say on 1st July, 2023 then he will be PRI from 1st July, 2023 till he left India. That means from 1st april, 2023 to 30th June, 2023 he will be PROI and after that from 1st July, 2023 he will be PRI till he left. Because we compute residential status for a particular date not for a financial year in FEMA. Please correct me if i am wrong.
