Trains to Selby use the ECML until the junction where the Diversion, Britain's first high speed line starts. They then use what used to be the ECML to get to Selby.

I am guessing that this is an empty coaching stock run, since on occasions where services are diverted via the traditional route via Goole they normally stop there. Also went straight through Brough without stopping.

It was neither, it’s an empty coaching stock run. That’s why it took the shorter route via Goole, and didn’t stop at Brough.

Great to see these videos, but your crib notes have gone a bit awry ... it says "Leeds to Harrogate" under the video! And the notes say "calling at Selby", when it has gone on the diversionary route via Goole instead...

Got a feeling that this is the ECS serice from Doncaster Carr Depot to Hull via Goole. It has to get to Hull to form the 07:00 Departure From Hull to London Kings Cross. Seems that LNER has made a error......

Good quality video visually, BUT.....why no sound. I dozed off! Also can't you put captions on so people know the location of the train? Even if just the stations. It is meaningless otherwise, quite frankly. It's a pity as this could be a fantastic production

Poor contrast, Weak colours, No sound, No annotations, incorrect route description. A bit of a poor show considering this is an LNER release. The wait to get into Hull could have been annotated to explain how signalling was being obeyed too maintain the scheule and delays are often encountered as 800 series Hitachi's working on old timetables will arrive early at some stops. Pay Don Coffey to do you a proper job, His profits go to charity
