Cab tours! Stack talk! and more! BSV 8419!

setptember 21st found me and my mom venturing out to boone iowa again for their annual pufferbilly days celebration. Our first stop was a trainshow where we picked up some goodies including a framed amtrak picture, but after we decided to head to the boone and scenic to see 8419 for the first time, and let me tell you its an experience ill never forget, from getting in the cab of the steam locomotive to the stack talk up the grade, it was an amazing experience.
I reccomend you either join iowa NRHS or support the boone and scenic through their website, as the only standard gauge tourist railroad in iowa that operates steam, and has a large collection of equipment ranging from the chinese JS, to the CNW's executive F unit.

they should fully Americanize her like 142. looks out of place with the big skyline type thing. Keep the new paint scheme.

@@infaredxkingz8786 8419 was purchased by the Boone and scenic in the late 80s, all locomotives from China in America were bought

Great vid on 8419, my on,y question is why cab tours is mentioned in the title when the whole video was shot on just 8419 and your ride behind it. Not upset just confused.

@@atsfevan0242 thanks for enjoying the video, the cab tour part was a less major part of the video and I probably shouldn't have emphasized that in the title as it's only a 10 second clip towards the end, I wanted to let people know that there was indeed a cab tour in the video
