The house was so intensely his own and it was clear he felt creatively inspired by its surroundings. It reminded me why we need to be thoughtful when decorating our houses so that it aids our creativity and well being. While the music was fitting, the volume could have been lowered, at points his voice was almost drowned out by it!

Alas, the disturbing noise (music) detracts from the film. I musted the sound and read the transcript which also detracts one from fully viewing the film...

I agree. It’s a growing annoyance that people spoil their videos with inappropriate and intrusive music. I didn’t find the quotations from Proust helpful either. I can see the link with Proust but there’s no need to make it so obvious and anyway it’s not very relevant.
