Cabbage and Cauliflower Planting 2023-10-19 Zone 7B Georgia

How long will you leave yours covered? When will those bugs move out? I have a few broccoli that have been eaten down to skeletons and will spray with BT and cover. I have more than one bed of brassicas and not enough frost covers.

I will leave the covers on until I don't see any white or yellow butterflies for a few days. Last year we were harvesting the cauliflower and it was still under the cover. The caterpillars have really been viscous this year. Even some of my plants that are under covers have been eaten down to skeletons. I guess there were eggs on the plants to start with. Really tough going this fall.
