You are a delight to watch. Hearty as the food you grow. I love the pig tails. I thought I was the only grownie who wore them. I am sixty one and live in NC and giggling at four am watching this and likely to wake my hubby. I grow dill and one of the joys is walking past it in the garden and the scent gets the recipes going in my head. When a young bride of only twenty years old, found a recipe to add dill to butter and a fresh tomato and saute and add to your cooked green beans and may be the only recipe that stayed with me for forty plus years. I have made it for church socials and add a sign that it has dill so they won't think it spoiled when they taste the wangyness of dill. It is my favorite. I bought an air dryer for near my woodstove that hangs with shelves and I would gather my dill and rinse once and lay on the trays and then fill half pint jars with my own fresh. It is pretty when canning pickled green tomatoes or cukes and toss in a stem or two of it to float. Do you can? Nutrition info is nice *mushrooms vit D* and I will be a regular to your channel. Happy New Year Girlie Girl, you are a treasure

Hi Vivi, I love cabbage cooked or raw. I can pull off leafs and just sit and munch. I will give this recipe a go sometime this week. I make poor man's steak where you slice the cabbage in thick slices and pour melted butter over it and chopped garlic. Bake covered til tinder then uncover and put parmesan cheese on top and back into the oven for 5 min.'s and OMG makes my toes curl thinking about it lol. Your beat a cold soup was a big hit at work. Everyone loved it i added the chic peas like you suggested Yummy!!! They asked me to say thank you for that recipe. : )

did it vivi, made it without mushrooms because I am snowed in without any but made pie crust no puff pastry and it is in the oven. I also made a version with crust my husband can eat on his ketozone diet with butter mozzarella egg and almond flour but it is not holding up like crust more like pressed down and cabbage mix on top and then some pieces on top because there is no way it will work as I made it but set it in the fridge to chill until he can get home from work. He has four wheel drive and I am still stuck home and cooking. You took the boredom out of my world today you lovely creature. I am so happy to have found you on Sean's channel. Love you all

Well I have just done one complete year of Allotment growing yeaa I have been watching your videos for several years now I have a smallish plot which I do no dig. I am lucky to have a garden at home to make most of the compost But not much light to grow veg hence the allotment. I was really surprised how much I have grown in a year you name I grew it. So today I thought I would make your cabbage pie but I don't have dill at home so I will try another herb ? I am growing parsnips so I dug up a couple to see if they have grown straight they did : ) so I will also make your parsnip soup' then if i can be bothered LOL I may make your squash risotto with red kuri squashes I grew vertically if not I will make that another day as the squash will keep Thank you very much Vivi watching you grow that gorgeous veg and then seeing the results in the kitchen has inspired me on Even though I am a late starter the gardening at 60 and I work part time four days a week but I know you did it working full time and did a great job as well as this youtube channel . I stick a few pics on Instagram suetheplantbased mainly to keep a record so hopefully if I don't burn the cabbage pie it will be on there later on Thanks Vivi keep up the great work xx

Oh you didn't have to cut it and possibly ruin your presentation, you could just say makes 4 large servings. ---Q: No sauce? No salt and pepper, no garlic, butter, thickened stock nor wine? I don't know if I can imagine dill cabbage flavor except like a pickle, lol.

Hahahah - umami catches me every time! Brilliant - I may take you up on that.......firstly I have to go through my list again and narrow it down because I have chosen far more herbs than I have space for!..... :-)

What Vivi did next haha in the same. This year I've decided to grow all my herbs at home in pots so that I can get fresh ones for whatever I'm cooking! I have nearly everything herb wise so happy to send you anything else I have too. 😁
